I got this kit when it was recently on offer from Feel Unique, I never tried anything from the TIGI brand before, but since it was at a special price, I thought now would be a better time than ever to introduce myself to the brand and I must say, I am impressed.
Usually I am quite picky about what I put on my hair, I'm not the type of person that will say "This'll do!" and just go with it. I have long, fine, flat hair and I like to make sure that I have a good shampoo and conditioner or else I just can't work with my hair at all.
First up, the shampoo and conditioner claim that it is 'perfect for dry damaged tresses that need a moisture hit'. Now, at first I thought that that this duo was going to leave my hair feeling lank and looking greasy as it is aimed at putting moisture into the hair, but I didn't find this at all. Even after the first wash with my hair was looking so much more healthy, shiny and super duper soft. I even find myself putting less oil at the ends of my hair now because the shampoo and conditioner just do a good job at keeping my hair soft and manageable.
Now, as I'm reaching the halfway point in the bottle, I've also noticed that my hair has started to get a little stronger as well, which really is saying something as my hair always snaps when I go to brush it out after a wash, even with the help of my Tangle Teezer.
They both smell really good as well. They don't smell exactly the same, but kind-of similar, think tropical fruits meet the 'hairdresser smell'. Individually, the aren't the cheapest shampoo and conditioner in my bathroom, but they aren't the most expensive either if you shop around online. You get a lot of product for your money as I wash my hair every day and I'm only halfway through the shampoo and conditioner, so I really do recommend them if you're looking for a good duo that will just make your hair healthier, stronger and softer. My mum even asked me if I had done something with my hair and I practically forced her to use them and she loves them just as much as I do! Yay for mummy points.
What do you think of the TIGI brand? Would you recommend any of their products for long, fine, flat hair? Let me know in the comments!
