You may have seen this featured on my June Favourites and there's a very good reason why. I was looking for a cleanser that just did the job of cleansing my face, leaving it feeling fresh and purified as I'm currently back into double cleansing. I use this as my second cleanser and I use either The Body Shop Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Wash or The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil, but you could get away with just using this on it's own (which I do sometimes) as it just does such a good job at leaving the skin feeling refreshed and decongested.
I think that cream cleansers are my favourite type of cleansers, mainly because they apply like a dream, they are gentle and there's no mess like there can sometimes be with oils or balms. Also, they aren't stripping or drying on my sensitive skin like with some foaming cleansers. This just leaves my skin feeling so soft and nourished, I can even use it on my eyes and it doesn't leave that horrible residue over my eyes or on my skin at all. This particular cleanser is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin because I haven't had any problems with it.
Even the cloth that comes with the cleanser is great and I much prefer it to using a muslin cloth now. It's so much softer than a muslin cloth which means I'm not tempted to scrub at my skin which can cause me to damage it from being too abrasive.
I really can't fault this cleanser, it just gets the job done and it's definitely going to be one that I'll repurchase over and over again. It's definitely earned it's place alongside my beloved Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. Did I mention that it smells absolutely incredible as well? Just imagine standing in a rose garden, that's what it smells like.
At £16, some people may think it's expensive for a cleanser, but to be honest you really get what you pay for and it's definitely worth the money in my opinion. Also, I'm pretty sure there's a 30ml sample size and the cloth with June's InStyle magazine if you can get your hands on that if you want to try it for free!
